Testimonials

“I’ve been coming to Maureen for acupuncture for 10+ years. Whether it is for a stuffy nose, a headache, or even something as simple a bruise on my arm – she always has a solution to my pain.

In 2012 I underwent major jaw surgery (Class 3 Malocclusion) and within the past year also had surgery to treat gum recession as a complication of the jaw surgery, and on both occasions Maureen’s treatments have significantly reduced the pain I was experiencing, and increased my recovery.

After my recent gum surgery I was in indescribable pain immediately post-operation, and Maureen treated me with her Battlefield Acupuncture which instantly diluted the pain I was experiencing to the point where I barely needed to take my prescribed medication.

I have referred many friends and family to her, and will continue to do so! Great job Maureen, looking forward to seeing you soon!”

“I began acupuncture treatments for arthritis and ongoing pain after knee surgery. Acupuncture with Maureen has enabled me to stop using daily pain medication and, more importantly, to walk comfortably and participate in a more active lifestyle.

Maureen is a caring practitioner who listens to my concerns and adjusts the treatment accordingly. She brings her years of training and experience to each client providing professional, sensitive treatment and health information.  I have complete confidence in her and have benefited so much from her skills and many kindnesses.”

I am a 66 year old disabled Vietnam veteran who lost my leg above the knee a little over 10 years ago. Also one and a half years after the amputation, I had major neck surgery to extract numerous cancer lymph nodes on my neck, followed by 36 sessions of radiation treatments on my head and neck. After all this, I was experiencing considerable pain my both my neck and shoulder as well as phantom limb pain syndrome in my right leg.

I was looking for relief in a different way other than the serious use of pain meds, including narcotics. Someone had suggested I try acupuncture; at this point I was up for anything. I contacted Maureen and after working with her for a couple of weeks, she was able to decrease a serious amount of my pain, and I have been working with her on a regular basis ever since.

I am one person who now swears by acupuncture and would highly recommend Maureen to anyone in need of relief. Her knowledge of her craft is amazing and her passion for this vocation is second to none. She continues to learn new techniques to bring relief to her patients, and her compassion for their maladies leads her to more experience and kindness. Also, she is one of the “good guys” who really cares.
